The parents of a Fox News journalist who died while reporting on the war in Ukraine are blaming the network and one of its star reporters for her death. The story, reported by NPR, has drawn attention to questions about safety decisions and responsibility facing news organizations sending correspondents into conflict zones. It has sparked debate about the risks journalists take covering the front lines.
Why now: A grieving family publicly accusing a major US network over a journalist's death is a striking accountability story about press safety in wartime.
