Anthony Davis issues warning ahead of new NBA season
Original: Anthony Davis sends a warning ahead of the new NBA season: "People forgot and I take that personal"
Dallas Mavericks star Anthony Davis has issued a pointed message to the rest of the NBA ahead of the new season, saying: 'People forgot and I take that personal.' He suggests his level is being underestimated after an injury-disrupted stretch, and he intends to remind everyone what he can do when the games begin.
Why now: Training camp hype and Davis's combative framing about being forgotten are drawing attention ahead of the season tip-off.
