A Melbourne wildlife photographer has shared a striking image of a musk lorikeet, an Australian honeyeater-like parrot known for its bright green plumage and red face. The caption makes a playful pun on the bird's name, drawing likes and warm responses from the birdwatching and nature photography community, with tags spanning Australian birds and wildlife photography.
Why now: The wordplay on the bird's name 'musk' amid heavy media coverage of Elon Musk makes the pun land with readers right now.
