A New York Times report says major powers are competing to deploy nuclear reactors on the Moon, framing lunar energy as the next frontier in strategic rivalry. The push reflects growing plans for sustained lunar bases that would need reliable power beyond solar reach, with the US and China seen as leading contenders.
