Solar equipment reviewer Will Prowse has launched ChargedReviews.com, a crowd-sourced review site for solar gear. He says he grew frustrated with companies manipulating product reviews and deleting unfavorable comments on their pages, and wants an independent alternative that buyers can trust for honest feedback on solar products.

Why now: Frustration with companies manipulating or deleting product reviews is a recurring consumer concern, and Prowse is a well-known figure in the DIY solar community.
