A police raid on a gay bar in Taipei has sparked scrutiny of the city's reputation as Asia's most queer-friendly capital, just ahead of its annual Pride parade. Critics say the raid undermines Taiwan's image as a leading LGBT rights advocate, while officials face questions over how the operation was carried out.
