Quiet Sunday photos of votive candles in churches
Original: „Stille Gedanken /// Quiet Thoughts” #SilentSunday #StillerSonntag #Candles #VotiveCandles #Church #Kerzen #Opferlichter
Photographers are sharing still-life images of votive candles and quiet church interiors under the tags SilentSunday and StillerSonntag. The pictures, often shot in warm red light, focus on devotion, faith and peaceful atmosphere rather than news events. Posts in both English and German show the bilingual tradition of marking Sunday with contemplative imagery.
Why now: Silent Sunday is a recurring weekend photo-sharing tradition, and candle-lit church scenes fit its contemplative mood.
