Mockery of Mohsin Naqvi After India's Trophy Triumph
Original: Mohsin Naqvi is looking for a way to steal the Good medal and run home. Well done India.
Pakistan Cricket Board chairman and Asian Cricket Council president Mohsin Naqvi is being widely mocked in India, with sarcastic posts suggesting he wanted to 'steal the gold medal and run home'. The jabs come after India's victory in the Asia Cup final, where India players reportedly declined to accept the trophy from Naqvi, turning the presentation ceremony into a diplomatic flashpoint between the two countries.
Why now: Tensions over the Asia Cup trophy presentation, with India refusing to receive it from Naqvi, have made him a target of Indian online mockery.
