Takahashi George, frontman of the band Koma Ryu, is drawing attention in Japan for blunt remarks dismissing the popular 'shukatsu' (end-of-life planning) and 'danshari' (decluttering) trends, reportedly saying they can go to hell. Instead, he offers a contrasting outlook on life, arguing it is better to keep learning. The comments come from a recent interview picked up by Japanese news outlets.
Why now: His blunt rejection of widely promoted decluttering and end-of-life planning trends clashes with mainstream advice, making the remarks shareable.
