Original: Donald Trump tells Ohio families they’ll receive huge checks in just ‘a couple of days’ https://www. bocvip.com/1494706/
Donald Trump told families in Ohio they would receive large payments within 'a couple of days,' according to the headline making the rounds. No details in the available coverage specify the source or size of the payments, or which program they would come from. The claim has drawn attention amid ongoing debate over the economy and possible government payout schemes.
Why now: The promise of imminent large checks to ordinary families is a striking economic claim that people are scrutinising ahead of any actual payments.
