Trump appears to post senator's phone number in daylight saving push
Original: Trump appears to share personal phone number of US senator in ploy to push permanent daylight savings
Donald Trump reportedly published what appears to be a US senator's personal phone number as part of an effort to lobby for permanent daylight saving time in the United States. The move, reported by the Guardian, drew attention for its unusual approach to pressuring lawmakers and revived the long-running debate over whether the US should stop changing its clocks twice a year.
Why now: The disclosure of a senator's personal contact details by a former president is unusual and raises both privacy and political-pressure concerns, while also reigniting the daylight saving time debate.
