Yemeni forces strike Sanaa as Trump warns Iran
Original: Really too bad the war schedule doesn't align with Trump's election timeline... Iran war live: Yemeni forces strike Sana
Yemeni forces have carried out a strike on Sanaa while Donald Trump warned Tehran there would be a 'hard way' ahead, according to live coverage by Al Jazeera. Commenters seized on the timing, suggesting the escalation of conflict with Iran and its allies was being driven by the rhythm of American electoral politics rather than by events on the ground.
Why now: The US confrontation with Iran is escalating just as Trump's campaign messaging puts foreign policy and war at the centre of political debate.
