North Dakota State routs Wyoming in FBS newcomer debut
Original: FBS newcomer North Dakota State routs Wyoming football
North Dakota State, newly elevated to the top tier of college football, defeated Wyoming in convincing fashion, routing the Cowboys on their own schedule. The result is drawing attention because the Bison are a new arrival to FBS play and immediately delivered a dominant performance against an established Mountain West program, prompting questions about Wyoming's season outlook and the Bison's competitiveness at the higher level.
Why now: The Bison's lopsided win over an established FBS program is surprising and notable in their first season at college football's top level.
