A family, reportedly in Gaza, has issued an urgent appeal saying they are going hungry and need $40 to buy food, sharing a fundraising link and asking people to donate and share. The plea describes hunger as their daily reality, not just words. Such small-sum crowdfunding appeals have become common as food prices and scarcity worsen for displaced families in the territory.
Why now: Ongoing hunger and displacement in Gaza are driving frequent crowdfunding appeals that circulate widely on social media.
