Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty has released a video warning what a city looks like after Russian forces target it, aimed at showing Western audiences the destruction Ukrainian cities such as Kyiv, Kharkiv, Odesa, Lviv and Kherson have endured. The warning is being shared widely on social media with calls for accountability at the ICC, the UN and European institutions, amid continuing Russian attacks on urban areas.
Why now: Ongoing Russian strikes on Ukrainian cities keep the question of war crimes and Western response at the centre of public debate.
