Hiker enjoys mountain lunch as Norwegian weather shifts

Original: The weather changes fast in the Norwegian mountains. But this was such a perfect spot to have lunch and some coffee. Not

A hiker in the Norwegian mountains described how quickly the weather can turn while taking a break for lunch and coffee at a scenic spot. They noted that access rules have tightened in some areas to protect wild reindeer, giving the animals a quieter habitat, and said they may no longer be able to visit the same locations.

Why now: Striking photos of changing mountain weather and new access restrictions for reindeer protection are drawing attention.

• The weather changes fast in the Norwegian mountains. But this was such a perfect spot to have lunch and some coffee. Not sure i can do it anymore though, there are some more restrictions in place these days, so the wild reindeers will have a more quiet area. #nature… · TristanKrs@gram.social · 7
