A resident is starting an impromptu "touchgrass" series for October, walking Broadway from 6th Avenue down to Alameda on the first of the month. The walk coincides with Front Porch Fest, which features multiple bandstands, parks and vendors. Organisers are encouraging people to get outside, see others in person, and join a follow-up meetup on October 21st at 7pm.
Why now: A community invitation to attend a local street festival and outdoor meetup is circulating.
