Trump posts GOP senator's phone number over daylight saving delay
Original: Trump posts GOP senator’s cell phone number over daylight savings act stall
President Trump has published a Republican senator's personal cell phone number online, accusing him of stalling legislation to end the twice-yearly clock changes. The daylight saving bill has been stuck in Congress despite Trump's earlier calls to make the change permanent, and his decision to publicly share the contact details marks an escalation of his pressure campaign against fellow members of his own party.
Why now: A president publicly publishing an ally's private phone number is an unusual escalation in an intra-party fight over stalled legislation.
