Air raid alerts were issued in Kyiv, Chernihiv, Zhytomyr and Sumy regions as monitors reported drone movement toward multiple towns, including Borodianka, Slavutych, Radomyshl and Konotop. Air defense forces were placed on standby while residents were urged to take shelter. It is another in the near-nightly waves of Russian drone attacks on Ukrainian territory that continue to strain defenses and infrastructure.
Why now: Ongoing Russian drone strikes on Ukrainian cities keep air raid alerts a daily concern for residents and observers.
