Original: Barstool's Dave Portnoy blames Ohio State, Ryan Day for 'Big Noon Kickoff' exit
Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy publicly blamed Ohio State and head coach Ryan Day for his departure from Fox's 'Big Noon Kickoff' college football pregame show. Portnoy had joined the program this season, and his exit has drawn attention given his outspoken Ohio State criticism and the friction his role created with the Buckeyes' fanbase and program.
Why now: Portnoy's public finger-pointing at a high-profile program and coach makes for a contentious, headline-grabbing sports media story.
