Restore Britain concedes string of local election defeats
Original: Restore Britain lost in a whole host of elections yesterday Their response was dignified and humble, happy to keep learn
The new party Restore Britain failed to win in a whole host of elections, with supporters describing its response as dignified and humble and pointing to a willingness to keep learning and growing. The contrast is being drawn with Reform UK, which also lost across many contests but is portrayed as responding very differently, turning the two parties' post-election reactions into the point of discussion.
Why now: Both parties performed poorly in yesterday's elections, and the contrast between their responses is what people are reacting to.
