Celtic's Dermot Desmond spotted in Scotland amid O'Neill pressure
Original: dermot desmond
Celtic's majority shareholder Dermot Desmond has been spotted back in Scotland at a moment of intense scrutiny of the club, with pressure mounting on interim manager Martin O'Neill over results. The Irish billionaire rarely appears publicly, so his presence is being read by fans and media as a sign the club's board is closely weighing the team's direction and the manager's future.
Why now: Desmond's rare public appearance in Scotland comes while supporters are debating Martin O'Neill's position as Celtic manager.
