Aaron Judge left off Yankees ALDS roster against Rays
Original: Aaron Judge not on Yankees' ALDS roster vs. Rays, but Ryan Weathers added to pen https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/765560
Aaron Judge is not on the New York Yankees' roster for their ALDS series against the Tampa Bay Rays, while pitcher Ryan Weathers has been added to the bullpen. The move removes baseball's biggest star from the Yankees' playoff lineup as they begin their postseason run, with Weathers giving the pitching staff an extra arm instead.
Why now: Judge is one of MLB's biggest stars, so his absence from a playoff roster is major postseason news.
