Original: Security failure deepens: Flydubai terrorist pilot may have flown to Israel before attack
Israeli media report that a pilot involved in an attack, who worked for the airline Flydubai, may have flown flights into Israel before carrying out the attack. The claim suggests a serious lapse in security vetting, as the individual reportedly had access to Israeli airspace and airports through his job. The report is fueling questions about how the security failure was allowed to happen and who bears responsibility for the breach.
Why now: The report raises alarm about an apparent security breach involving an attacker with prior access to Israel through commercial aviation.
