MK Stalin campaigns in Madurantakam amid bypoll barbs

Original: மு. க. ஸ்டாலின்

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin is campaigning in Madurantakam ahead of the by-election, where he mocked the ruling AIADMK chief EPS over his fear of losing the bypoll and spoke openly about former alliance parties. Actor-turned-politician Vijay's camp hit back, saying Stalin would face a fitting reply, while TVK announced it filed a complaint with the Election Commission accusing Stalin of mocking its female candidate's appearance.

Why now: Stalin's campaign speech and the complaints and counterattacks from rival parties around the Madurantakam by-election are drawing attention.
