Pro golfer Yano Azuma says don't deliberately create lag

Japanese tour professional Yano Azuma is drawing attention with a golf lesson arguing that players should not intentionally try to create lag, or 'tame', in their swings. He highlights a gap in perception between professionals and amateurs: many amateurs chase the look of a loaded, delayed wrist set, while pros let it emerge naturally from proper sequencing. The lesson covers address, swing mechanics and practice advice for everyday golfers.
Why now: Amateur golfers frequently obsess over creating lag, so a pro debunking that habit sparks discussion.
