Thanksgiving flights could cost $95 more than last year
Original: Flying for Thanksgiving could cost you $95 more than last year
Airfare for Thanksgiving travel is expected to run roughly $95 higher than last year, according to a report from SFGATE. The price jump comes as Americans plan holiday trips amid elevated travel demand, and travelers are being warned to book early if they want to avoid the steepest fares for the busy Thanksgiving period.
Why now: Thanksgiving is one of the busiest travel periods in the US, so a significant fare increase directly affects millions of people planning holiday trips.
