India beat Pakistan in Asian Games cricket amid handshake snub
Original: No handshakes and a delayed ceremony as India beat Pakistan at Asian Games
India defeated Pakistan in cricket at the Asian Games, with the match followed by no handshakes between the two teams and a delayed ceremony. The latest encounter between the arch-rivals was marked by visible political and sporting tension, keeping attention on the players' conduct on and off the field as much as the result itself.
Why now: Any India-Pakistan match draws huge attention, and the missing handshakes and ceremony delay added controversy on top of the result.
