Cool morning at Locke Park parkrun as runners welcome autumn chill

Runners at Locke Park's weekly parkrun turned out to grey, moody skies and noticeably colder air for the first time this season. One participant reported the chill helping their pacing, hitting their target time and still feeling strong enough to keep sprinting at the finish. It is the kind of seasonal shift regulars at the free 5k event tend to note each autumn.
Why now: The first properly cold morning of autumn changed conditions for weekend runners and made for a striking start to the weekly parkrun.
