Autumn photography post pairs bare trees with U2's October

Original: October and the trees are stripped bare Of all they wear What do I care? October and kingdoms rise And kingdoms fall But

A photographer shared a black-and-white autumn image of bare October trees, captioning it with lyrics from U2's 1981 song 'October' about kingdoms rising and falling while the season goes on. The shot, taken on an Olympus PEN F, joins the seasonal wave of autumn photography and quiet Sunday photo-sharing.

Why now: It is the start of autumn, and people are sharing seasonal photography and song lyrics about October.
