Russia attacked Ukraine overnight with more than 100 strike drones, including nearly 50 jet-powered units, according to President Volodymyr Zelensky. The large-scale drone barrage, combining cheaper propeller drones with faster jet-powered models, is being reported amid the ongoing Russian invasion and continues the pattern of near-nightly aerial attacks on Ukrainian territory.
Why now: A major overnight drone attack on Ukraine involving an unusually high number of jet-powered drones is drawing attention.
