Ukraine MFA Denies Foreign Embassies Plan to Relocate From Kyiv
Ukraine's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has denied claims that foreign embassies are planning to relocate from Kyiv, pushing back against reports of diplomatic drawdowns in the capital. The statement comes amid ongoing concerns about the security situation in Ukraine, where embassy movements have previously signalled escalating threats and caused public alarm.
Why now: Embassy relocations are widely read as signals of escalating danger, so any suggestion of embassies leaving Kyiv draws intense attention amid the ongoing war.
