ICE Supporter's Remarks on Pronouns and Deportation Draw Criticism
Original: “I Think It’s Funny” - ICE Supporter on Pronouns and Deportation | Forrest Valkai + Ari
A discussion on a political talk show featured an ICE supporter dismissing concerns about pronouns while defending deportations, saying "I think it's funny." Commentators Forrest Valkai and Ari pushed back on the remarks, framing the exchange as an example of callousness toward immigrant rights. The clip has drawn significant attention amid ongoing debate over US immigration enforcement.
Why now: Immigration enforcement and culture-war disputes over pronouns remain highly charged topics in the US right now.
