Developers behind the proposed Scout Moor II wind farm on the moors north of Manchester have announced major changes to their plans. According to the Manchester Evening News, opponents say the revisions do not go far enough, and local campaigners remain unhappy with the scheme. The long-running controversy over building turbines on the site continues to divide residents and environmental supporters.
Why now: Fresh changes to a controversial wind farm proposal have reignited local debate without appeasing opponents.
