Texas schools trade Chromebooks for MacBook Neo over hidden costs

Original: Faux frais et vraies pannes : pourquoi ces écoles texanes lâchent leurs Chromebook pour le MacBook Neo http:// dlvr.it/T

Schools in Texas are reportedly ditching their Chromebooks in favour of Apple's MacBook Neo. The move is attributed to hidden fees and frequent breakdowns with the Chromebook fleet, which reportedly made the devices more expensive over time than expected. The story, circulated in French-speaking Apple circles, feeds the ongoing debate over which devices offer the best value and reliability for classroom use.

Why now: It challenges the assumption that Chromebooks are the cheapest, most reliable option for schools, and highlights Apple's push into education.
