'Dark' art show opens with an uplifting message
Original: ‘Dark’ art show intends to inspire
A new art show under the title 'Dark' is presenting work that its organizers hope will inspire visitors rather than unsettle them. The exhibition explores darker themes in art while aiming to draw out something positive and thought-provoking for audiences, according to coverage in the Fairmont Sentinel.
Why now: The show's counterintuitive framing of darkness as a source of inspiration is drawing local attention.
