Ukraine Fires First FP-7 Ballistic Missile at Russia
Original: Ukraine's First FP-7 Ballistic Missile Used Against Russia
Ukraine has reportedly used its FP-7 ballistic missile in combat against Russia for the first time, marking a milestone in its domestic long-range weapons programme. Observers say the strike signals Kyiv's growing capability to hit targets deep inside Russian-held territory with locally produced missiles, reducing reliance on Western-supplied systems as the war continues.
Why now: The first combat use of a new Ukrainian ballistic missile is a significant escalation in Kyiv's deep-strike capabilities.
