Flydubai attack suspect previously removed by airline over extremist views
Original: Flydubai attack suspect removed by another airline over extremist views
A suspect in the Flydubai attack had earlier been removed by another airline because of extremist views, according to CNN. The report raises questions about how aviation employers screen staff and share security information, and why someone flagged for radical views was able to remain connected to the industry before the attack.
Why now: New reporting links the Flydubai attack suspect to prior extremist conduct at another airline, prompting scrutiny of aviation security vetting.
