San Diego FOX affiliate airs Dodgers game instead of Padres
Original: Local (San Diego) over-the-air FOX station has LAD tomorrow and not the Padres. Fail. # MLB
San Diego's local over-the-air FOX station is scheduled to broadcast the Los Angeles Dodgers game tomorrow rather than the San Diego Padres, prompting criticism from a local baseball fan. In the Padres' own market, viewers expecting hometown coverage are instead being handed the division rival, a decision being called a clear misstep for local programming.
Why now: Local fans are frustrated that their hometown team is passed over for a division rival on free local TV.
