Russian forces struck Kyiv's Northern Bridge, damaging the road surface and trolleybus lines. Mayor Vitali Klitschko said traffic between the city's left and right banks has been closed while the damage is assessed. The bridge is a key crossing over the Dnipro, so its closure affects movement across the Ukrainian capital.

Why now: The attack disrupted a major Kyiv river crossing, cutting off traffic between the two banks of the city.
