Dave Portnoy and Barstool Sports are no longer part of Fox's 'Big Noon Kickoff,' according to reporting by The Athletic. Portnoy had joined the college football pregame show as part of a broader deal between Barstool and Fox Sports, and his departure ends that on-air arrangement. Details on the reason for the split or Portnoy's next move have not been confirmed.
Why now: The abrupt split between the controversial Barstool founder and a major network's college football show is surprising media and sports news.
