Trump Rally in Alabama Draws Smaller Crowds
Original: In Alabama, Trump Relives His Glory Days (This Time With Some Empty Seats)
Donald Trump held a rally in Alabama where he returned to familiar campaign rhetoric and nostalgic themes, but observers noted visible empty seats in the venue. The event, covered by national media, is being read as a sign that enthusiasm for his political comeback tour may be softening, with crowd size once again becoming a talking point in coverage of his appearances.
Why now: Crowd size has long been a point of pride and controversy for Trump, so a reported drop-off at a rally draws attention and speculation.
