Cockatiels gather whenever their owner relaxes

A Japanese animal story is drawing smiles online: a group of cockatiels cluster around their owner whenever the owner settles down to rest. Although the birds can fly, they instead climb up little by little to reach the owner, a comically patient approach that viewers find adorable. The write-up playfully parodies the famous folktale in which a god asks which bird was dropped, the golden one or the silver one.
Why now: The birds' amusing habit of climbing instead of flying and the folktale parody in the framing make it a charming share.
