A New Zealand newspaper has published a travel feature on Melbourne's inner-city, an approach praised for blending the city's culture, food and nightlife. The writer of the piece argues Melbourne rewards visitors who venture beyond the central business district into its surrounding suburbs, where much of the city's character lies. The feature is being shared among travel readers in Australia and New Zealand.
Why now: Travel writers and readers are discussing the idea that Melbourne is best experienced outside its CBD.
