An underground metal fan posted a daily 'currently spinning' playlist for October 2, 2026, listing releases by Spirit Possession (Cathedral Speech), Offernat (The Ecstasy of Death), Shrineburner (Hymns of Despair), Cartilage (Operating Altar), Vulgar Mephitis (From Dust), The Bleeding (Godless Communion), Demonic Manifestation (Grimshrine) and Consvmer (Abgrund). It is part of the routine social-media sharing of listening habits among extreme metal listeners.
Why now: Daily listening lists are a common ritual in underground metal communities, drawing small engaged audiences of fellow collectors.
