Drama swirls around Trail Blazers owner Tom Dundon

Original: Tom Dundon's Blazers can't avoid drama. Instead, it's all about Dundon https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/7653499/2026/10/

Portland Trail Blazers owner Tom Dundon is drawing attention after a firing involving the team's TV announcer, keeping the franchise in the headlines for off-court reasons. Coverage argues that rather than focusing on basketball, the story around the Blazers has become all about Dundon himself and the drama following his ownership decisions.

Why now: Dundon's decision to fire a TV announcer has made the new Blazers owner the story himself.
