Original: ๐๏ธ # News : Fascinating # research finds # song # birds ๐ฆ๐ฆ ๐ฆ communicate mid-flight with other species, possibly sharing
New research suggests migrating songbirds communicate with other species while in flight, possibly exchanging navigation information. The findings challenge the long-held view that migratory birds travel and orient largely on their own. Conservation voices sharing the study are also using it to call for stronger protection of songbirds, tying the research to campaigns against palm oil-driven habitat loss.
