Original: watch carsten höller turn art-world encounters into surreal games for a giant polaroid
Artist Carsten Höller has created a new project for Polaroid in which encounters from the art world are transformed into surreal games, captured on a giant instant camera format. The piece extends Höller's long-running practice of turning exhibitions into participatory experiments that unsettle how visitors behave and interact with one another.
Why now: The collaboration between a conceptual artist famous for playful, disorienting installations and an iconic photography brand is a fresh cultural crossover drawing attention.
