An artist is exhibiting work in two Chicago shows, both holding opening receptions on October 2. One is Icons Chicago, part of the annual West Town Art Walk, taking place at 2623 W. Chicago Avenue in West Town from 5 to 9 pm, with photographs including 'Petal' on view. The other is Fine Art Salon 26. The artist expressed excitement about having pieces in both simultaneous openings.

Why now: Both exhibitions have their opening receptions today, and the West Town Art Walk is drawing attention to local art events.
