GrayKey May Bypass iPhone Inactivity Reboot
Reports suggest GrayKey, the forensic device used by law enforcement to unlock iPhones, may be able to bypass the automatic inactivity reboot that Apple introduced to protect devices from unauthorized access. The inactivity reboot was designed to lock down an iPhone's data after a period of non-use, complicating forensic extraction. If confirmed, the capability would reignite debate over police access to encrypted devices and the strength of Apple's security protections.
